II. Annual Report of 2025-26:

II. 1. Prasanth Siruver Illam: (Officially closed)

  1. The Prasanth Siruver Illam project has been started during 2001 January first at Min Nagar, Therpetai, Hosur and children (both boys & girls) were enrolled and the home was run without any registration. Later late Mrs. Ramsamuj from UK joined and supported with her donation to Prasanth Siruver Illam. We have registered the Prasanth Siruver Illam under Orphanage and Other Charitable Homes (Supervision and Control) Act 1960 as per the Tamil Nadu government announcement and obtained certificate on 24-01-2004 and run continually in the rented place.
  2. During 2008 we have purchased a plot and constructed a building for children home by the support of Late Mrs. Ramsamuj fund and Mr. Androw MacLeod Sapin and Mrs. Shanthini UK donations. The Prasanth Siruver Illam has been shifted to our own new building at 1/1-B, Rajacity, Thottagiri Road, Hosur during August-2008 and many overseas & local well-wishers/donors supported Prasanth Siruver Illam.
  3. Again, as per the Tamil Nadu government order/rules we have registered the Prasanth Siruver Illam as Child Care Institution under Juvenile Justice Act 2015 as per the Tamil Nadu government announcement and got the certificate on 1-8-2011 where this certificate is valued for five years, so every five years it needs renewal and we did it up to 2025.
  4. The enrolled children were provided/given food, accommodation, bed and bedsheets, health & medical, education and its required aids and materials, cloths, toilet items etc. We have extended support to some of the poor parents by providing groceries and advocacy etc.

Medhan Kumar was enrolled as last child) hence 101 children were benefited from the project of Prasanth Siruver Illam and most them are completed their studies, got job and settle with family. (12 children were handed over to their parents/guardians when the closure of Prasanth Siruver Illam where they were not completed their education)
  6. The Child Care Institution of Prasanth Siruver Illam project was officially closed on ——–.
  7. The Juvenile Justice Act renewal was not done where the registration certificate was invalid on 24-2-2025, so we have requested with proper documents to the District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) to given us permission to run/ continue the Prasanth Siruver Illam up to May 2025, where the present staying 12 children education to be continued and write their public/final annual exams in the same schools. The DCPO given his consent so that the children stayed and written their final exam.
  8. After the exam all the 12 children’s discharge documents have submitted to Child Welfare Committee (CWC)-Krishnagiri by Prasanth Siruver Illam and received discharge order from CWC-Krishnagiri, hence all the children have handed over to their parents/guardians in front of CWC-Krishnagiri.
  9. Subsequently closing of Prasanth Siruver Illam as Child Care Institution documents have been submitted to

District Child Protection Officer (DCPO)-Krishnagiri and he received and acknowledged documents, therefore the Prasanth Siruver Illam as Child Care Institution has been officially closed. RAID-PROJECTS ANNUAL REPORT OF 2025-26.

Financial Year 2025-26 from 01-04-2025 to 30-06-2025.

I. Preamble:

Rural Association for Integrated Development (RAID) is an independent and secular organization that is working for the development of the poorest of the poor people. Our main-focus is to development of women & children particularly in the fields of health, education and social. Rural Association for Integrated Development (RAID) project namely Prasanth Siruver Illam project has been closed down due to financial crises (which we could not spend on ingratitude development and appoint new staff and pay their salaries for the project and etc) we therefore the Juvenile Justice Act registration has not been renewal so the Prasanth Siruver Illam Project has been closed. Whereas we have started a new project call Prasanth Tuition Centre which is running at present. We also planning & processing the work to start another new project called Prasanth Children Hostel.

  5. So, for 101 children were enrolled (V. Mala was enrolled as first child and M.
